Randy Hibberd
Randy Hibberd was born in 1972 in Huntington Beach, California. At the age of 12, his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he has lived ever since. During his childhood he was always attracted to drawing which slowly progressed to painting and expressing his inner most thoughts onto canvas.
Upon graduating from high school, Hibberd enrolled at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. While in college he mastered many art classes. But, it was not until after his graduation form Arizona State University in 1994 that he put his full attention into his paintings.
During his first 2 years of college, Hibberd was an understudy and an apprentice for two nationally known artists. Here, hands-on experience helped him realized painting is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
As a student, Randy was fascinated by the power of colors, and the ability to convey emotion–even without specific imagery. As his paintings evolved, he began to experiment by adding more deliberate texture and depth.
Painting in his own studio since the year 2000, Hibberd has begun to reach his own stardom as an artist. His works can be found in many galleries across the United States and also in many residential and corporate settings.
